About Helena Sand & Gravel
Our History
Helena Sand & Gravel was founded in 1929 and incorporated in 1935 by George Jacoby. Over the years, the company exchanged owners before its most recent acquisition by CRH in 2002. This purchase allowed for a combination of skills, resources, and experience to help grow Helena Sand & Gravel to where it is today, the Preferred Source of quality sand, rock, and landscape products, ready mix concrete, asphalt, paving, and construction services.
Our Experience
Our crew has worked on many large projects, including Montana Dept. of Transportation, Montana Aeronautics, City of Helena, Helena Regional Airport, Montana Dept. of Environmental Quality, and various private development companies. These jobs have provided our team members with the diverse expertise to complete any project, no matter the size.
